Girls boarding school in Harrogate Yorkshire. Expensive but bad education! On leaving I wanted to go to drama school but parents thought I should learn shorthand and typing.

My parents were from Yorkshire. They were both very sporty (I’m not!) My father was a director of Unilever sadly he developed MS in his 60’s and died about 12 years later
